Trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
On the 18th of March, 2009, the four of us, Pervin, Danica, Deborah and Josephine, went on a blissful trip to Brazil, Rio de Janeiro! A wonderful place indeed. We stayed in a fabulous 5 star hotel, Hotel Fasano at Ipanema Beach. This hotel is equipped with attractive plasma screen televisions, DVD and CD players. Great service was provided.
One of our favourite foods we ate was at Pizzaria Guanabara which provided delicious, mouth-watering but simple pizzas. The restaurant spills out onto the pavement, with a line of large green plants separating the diners from the cars. We can tantalise their palates with sweet pizza toppings, such as banana or peach. Yum! It is at Avenida Ataulfo de Paiva 1228, Leblon.
Where we loved the most to go to was Sugar Loaf Mountain, an interesting and famous mountain in Rio de Janeiro. The spectacular Sugarloaf Mountain, rising 396 metres (1300ft) from the water's edge of Guanabara Bay, offers visitors stunning views over the city, its beaches and beyond. A cable-car line takes the effort out of the climb. We took the cable car which was SO high above ground. Deborah had almost fainted as she fears of height.
We also took pictures of the mountain which were accidentally deleted. (SORRY!) But, you may go to www.google.com to search for the photos. Excellent ride it was, but not for Deborah. After reading this, do you feel like going to Brazil, Rio de Janeiro?
