The Weekend Before CA1 by Mrs Lee

The weekends have approached. This is not a weekend to relax but a weekend to recharge and be ready for CA1 on Tuesday.
As I have mentioned in class, you got to start revising. The common question is then How do I revise?
For English, you know that there are the various sections and basically, it is a test of grammar, vocabulary and understanding. For grammar, go over all the grammar rules that we have put down in our Grammar note book. This includes the synthesis portion. Practise by comming up with similar sentences or use a good assessment book to practise. You MUST always question yourself why you don't understand something. Find the answer.
For Science, go over your textbook. It is a gem. For pupils who like to take notes, rewrite the main points in the textbook in your notebook. Draw diagrams. Draw concept maps. Practise with a good assessment books the concepts revised.
